This is a beautiful, large, heavy (about 1.5 kg unpacked) Venetian freeform glass bowl/ashtray from the 1950s–1960s, made on the island of Murano near Venice, Italy. Attributed to Fratelli Toso and designed by Ermanno Toso, it features a stunning combination of rich red with opaque white cased glass, finished with bold multicolored floral murrine canes. A statement piece whether displayed as art glass or used as a bowl/ashtray, and a great example of classic Murano design. Purchased from the Glass of Venice. Card included
